Deputy Director of the National Authority for Cyber Security, Mrs. Floreta Luli-Faber, during a visit to the USA held several meetings at the American Department of State (DASh). She met Mr. Colleen Hyland, Regional Office Director, Ms. Yuri Kim, First Deputy Assistant Secretary and Mrs. Lisley Franz, Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Cyberspace Security.
During the meetings, Mrs. Faber presented the measures taken by Albania in cyber security, AKSK’s efforts to increase human and technological capacities, legal changes and steps to take preventive measures and prepare critical infrastructures against cyber attacks. She thanked the US for supporting capacity building for the national CSIRT and critical information infrastructures.
DASh praised Albania for its seriousness and advancement in improving the cyber ecosystem, as well as for the international cooperation and initiatives of AKSK with the countries of the region. The partnership between Albania and the USA is deepening more and more in the field of cyber security.
